I will always remember Mitzi as a gracious and happy person. We all had many happy times as friends during our high school years at Henry Clay High School. Going away to various universities, getting married and moving to new cities, Mitizi and I saw each other few times after High School, but worked together on a High School Reunion, and working with her and visiting with her---I found her to be the same gracious, giving and lovely individual I had known in our younger years. She will be greatly missed. My husband and I send our deepest sympathy to your family. Sincerely, Karen and Phil Fowler

I am so sorry to hear about Mitzi...she was such a sweetheart and I will always have the fondest memories of our school days. We had many laughs and good times and I will always remember them with lots of love. The good Lord must have been short on angels so he decided he needed Mitzi...I am sure she is up there putting smiles on many faces. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

Jimmy & Meredith:

Losing Mitzi is such a heartbreak. Yet rather than your suffering grief, she would hope you could smile at the memories of her in your lives. She was a beautiful, accomplished woman, and we know you will miss her greatly. Our thoughts and her spirit are with you.

I have many fond memories of Mitzi and Abbe during our early childhood. Our parents were good friends and I remember especially a fun trip to Florida with the Tate's. Also many great memories of their days on Paris Pike.

My sincere sympathy goes to all of Mitzi's family. She will be greatly missed.

Mr. Strode and Meredith,

Mitzi was my first BSF leader. She gave so much to my life. She always glowed with her faith and love for others. I never heard her speak an unkind word about anyone.

I too am a past Horse Show Chair and admired Mitzi's style and grace. I was with her this past July and will hold that memory with me.

God bless to you and your family

Jimmy and Meredith,

I'm so very much saddended to hear of Mitzi's passing. She was so very lovely, graceful and full of life. Everyone she ever met was left with the charm that was uniquely hers. I'm positive she's in a better place and she will be missed by all. It just does not seem possible that she has left us. When I see that Autumn tree leaf being wind blown across the bluegrass I'll know she's there. Most respectfully.
