Nancye Barber Johnson

JOHNSON Nancye Barber, 90, of Lexington, formerly of Hazard, passed away Sun, June 28, 2009. A native of Pike County, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard McClure Johnson and her parents, Jesse Clay and Alma Clayton Barber. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Lexington. Survivors include two daughters, Lucy Carol Johnson of Lexington and Lee Johnson Waterfield of Frankfort; two brothers, Robert Gene Barber of Morehead and Jack Lee Barber of Mt. Sterling; a sister, Mary Frances Scroggin of The Woodlands, TX; 4 grandchildren, Whitney Clayton Waterfield (David Nofsinger), Ryan McClure Waterfield (Greg Van Der Meulen), Harry Lee Waterfield III (Ashley Waterfield) and Richard Garth Waterfield; and 3 great grandchildren, Harper Waterfield Nofsinger, Willis Hayden Nofsinger, and Harry Lee Waterfield IV. Funeral Service 11:30am Wed at Milward-Broadway with private burial at Lexington Cemetery.
