LEXINGTON, Kentucky - Randal Prokopec entered this world September 5, 1951 and departed August 24, 2025. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Cheryl Keenan, daughter Alana Cottrill (Sean Cottrill) and grandchildren Hally and James Cottrill of Lexington. He was the kindest person despite the fact that the world gave him every reason not to be. He embodied the Golden Rule, helping others and putting their needs before his. He is also survived by sister Marlana Campbell, (Bill) Yorba Linda California, Sisters in law Janet Barton, Wichita, Kansas, and Luanne Miller. Leander, Texas. He was predeceased by father James Prokopec, step mother Rosie Prokopec, sister Dianne Cain, and sister in law Linda Hassur. A celebration of life will be held at Milward-Man O' War, 1509 Trent Blvd., Sunday October 12 from 2 to 4 PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Catholic Action Center or Lexington Rescue Mission. www.milwardfuneral.com.
