D., consulting physician Joe Richardson, M.D., oncology researcher Kenneth C. Anderson, M.D., oncologist Scott T. Pierce, M.D., consulting physicians Nicholas Issa, M.D., Mark Dougherty, M.D., and Thomas von Unrug, M.D. Mr. Corman established the R. J. Corman Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation at Harvard. He also provided the lead gift that helped make the Saint Joseph Jessamine, RJ Corman Ambulatory Care Center a reality in 2009. Earlier this year, another contribution funded the Sandra J. Adams Digital Mammography Suite at that medical center. Honorary bearers include: Luther Deaton, William Walter Halfhill, Ben Taylor, Gene Cocanougher, Denver Shuman, Fred Mudge, David Irvin, Craig King, and David Cravens. Public visitation will be held from 1-8pm Sunday, August 25 in Hangar 1 on the property of R. J. Corman Railroad Group, 101 R. J. Corman Drive in Nicholasville. Rick was a force to be reckoned with in life and touched so many lives. He was a demanding boss, but a caring and giving man... I like to think he'll be the same in haven. He's probably working on sprucing the place up, adding a splash or "Corman RED" here and there and talking to the head office about adding the RJ Corman logo to the pearly gates. You will be missed, Mr. Corman, all the best to your family.

It's still hard for me to fathom that a friend from such a humble beginning could excel in his life as Ricky did. We were classmates at Wilmore Elementary School and graduated from high school the same year. I'm so proud to have known him and to call him my friend. He is in the arms of angels now and his pain is finally gone. Rest in peace, my friend.
