I was fortunate to have worked with Rich at Waco Elementary. His love for his students was obvious to anyone who knew him and he made a difference in so many young lives. He was so proud of his family and loved each of you dearly. I know Rich will be greatly missed by so many. My sincere condolences and continued prayers.

I was honored to know Rich and always wished I'd know him longer and better. Truly a good, good man and yes, all will deeply miss his example of generosity, creativity, and quiet strength. Praying for Jill and his family that they will be reminded of Rich often in their minds and hearts with many good memories accompanied by smiles and laughter.

I worked at Waco Elementary with Rich. He was a wonderful, selfless man. He was gentle and caring in all things. I had two sons that went to Waco and since I worked at the school there were many days I stayed late. My boys were there with me so to use that after-school time I asked Rich to tutor them in Spanish which he willing did. Great memories of an amazing man. My sincerest sympathy to his family.

I miss my brother with all my heart and soul. Our brotherly lives began in Grangeville, Idaho, then as youngsters we accompanied our parents on an 8-year adventure in Honduras, Central America (as pioneers in the Baha'i Faith), and upon our father's sudden illness we continued our adolescent paths in Tulsa, Oklahoma. We reunited for a couple of years in Bisbee, Arizona, and then Rich moved on to complete his university education as a special education teacher. As his "big" brother, I lament that his life ended before my own. He had much more to give to his family, to his many friends, to the world. His light lives on, though, in the many hearts he touched and inspired. Including mine.

Rich was a wonderful brother-in-law, friend, father, & grandfather. He was calm, friendly, patient, artistic, & sympathetic. We will all miss this gentle soul.

Richard was my brother in law...in my first marriage. I found him to be a very gracious and giving man.
