Barbara, Libby and Ben:
Wayne and I learned of Dickie's death on Monday after our return from Gatlinburg. We both loved and respected Dickie very much. Wayne was especially saddened at the news, although we both know that he is now in a better place and is free of the terrible illness, there is an empty place in our hearts. We are unable to be with you in person on April 1,for Dickie's services, but please know that you are in our hearts and prayers not only Wednesday but in the days to come. Wayne said that although he could not be there tomorrow he will always treasure the day last fall when they attended the football game at Centre, they talked of old times and recalled good times from their high school days. It was a great day for Wayne and is the way he wants to remember Dick. You are a strong and wonderful woman and all who know you realize how devoted you were to Dickie and how wonderfully you cared for him. We'll be in touch soon to spend some time with you and Libby. May God hold you in His hands as you move through your grief.
Love, Joe Ann & Wayne Wylie

Thoughts and prayers are with the family in their loss. Can't help but remember the time we were young and experienced the good times at Elkhorn High in 1956.

Barbara, Mary Poppins said that a man has dreams. We know that Dick had those dreams. Through his work and the integrity that he brought to that work he achieved those dreams. We are better for having known him.

I am so sorry to learn of your family's loss. I worked for Dick a few years and we shared many conversations about every day problems. I still think of you all often, and will keep your family in my prayers.

Barbara,
We're very sorry to hear of Dick's passing, we just knew we would see you both again at the BGT Antique and Garden show. Thinking of you both reminded us of how much we learned in your presence and how nurturing Dick was to us in those "early years." I've always said Dick " raised me", as he did for so many that are still enjoying the career that he taught us about and guided us in. We will always miss him and forever be grateful for the role he played in our lives.

Sue and I will continue our prayers for Barbara, Mary, his mother, children and all his family members and friends. Dickie, in our prayers and thoughts, will be remembered as our class president, who always had a decent word for all and a reasonable approach to our youthful challenges of the 1950s. Dickie always provided outstanding leadership for his classmates, reflected strong resolve and integrity on and off the field/court of play. Our prayers go with him to his new place of abode.

I had the pleasure of knowing Dick for many years through his mother, Mary Charlton and his father, 'Chick.' All the Hulettes express love, humor, and a joie de vivre. I am grateful to have known Dick and his Dad, and continue to have Mary Charlton as a dear and valued friend.
Love to all the family,
Sheila
