Richard Drew Hunter

ASHLAND - Richard Drew Hunter, 54, Ashland, KY, died Sun. July 24, 2005. He was born on Nov. 16, 1950, the son of Dr. S. Gray and Mada Hubert Hunter, Bellefonte. He was an accountant, R. Drew Hunter, M.S. CPA, PSC, and was employed by The Counseling Center, Inc., Portsmouth, OH. He was a member of First Baptist Church, where he was a past Treasurer; Bellefonte Country Club; UK Alumni Assn. (Life Member); Dela Tau Delta Fraternity of UK; Member of YMCA; Also, member of Portsmouth and Ashland Chambers of Commerce, and Kiwanis International. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his Fiance, Suellen Brown Zornes; a son, Martin Gray Hunter and twin sister, Allison Michelle Hunter, both of Ashland; two other daughters, Dana Karolyn Hunter, Baltimore, MD, and Elizabeth Whitney Hunter, Lexington; two brothers: Dr. Randolph Gray Hunter (Debra Kay), Lakeland, FL, and James Hubert Hunter, Lexington; a sister, Susan Hunter (David) Wilson, Sacramento, CA, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be conducted on Thurs. at 11 am at First Baptist Church of Ashland, officiated by Rev. Ed. Talley. The body will lie in state from 10 am until service time. Visitation will be at Steen Funeral Home, Central Avenue Chapel on Wed. evening from 5-8 pm. Burial will be in Rose Hill Burial Park.
