Robert Ryker Obituary

RYKER, Robert, 76, Mildred Street, Versailles, husband of Juanita Barrett Ryker, died Wed., June 22 at Central Baptist Hospital. Born in Chicago, IL, he was a son of the late Ansel T. and Mabel Holmes Ryker. He was a retired employee of GTE, was a member of the Woodford Community Christian Church, and was former U. S. Naval reservist. In addition to his wife he is survived by six daughters, Judy (Harold) Long, Gail Moses, Becky Bruno, Kelly Coldiron, Lori Barnes, all of Lexington, Andrea (Gardner) Knight of Versailles, a son, Michael (Pat) Ryker of Winchester, a step daughter, Karen (Al) Casey of Lexington, three sisters, Betty Morgan of Tampa, Florida, Helen Delph of Lexington, Lorraine Knox of Indiana, a brother, Roy (Verna) Ryker of Stamping Ground, twelve grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Funeral services will be 11 am Sat., June 25 at the Blackburn & Ward Funeral Home with Rev. Randy Nation officiating. Interment will follow at the Rose Crest Cemetery. Friends may call from 5-8 pm today at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to the Woodford Community Christian Church. Guestbook at Legacy.com
