Roberta Woodard Obituary

WOODARD, Roberta Jean, 76, died peacefully at her home on Sat., Sept. 25, 2004. She was an outstanding Mother and Grandmother and is survived by two sons and five grand children. Bobbi, as she was known to her friends enjoyed a successful career in real estate and was named associate realtor of the year in the state of Kentucky In 1976. She later directed her efforts to the health care field where she used her considerable compassion and love to comfort others. Her warmth and sunny personality had a positive affect on all those that were fortunate enough to know her. She will be tremendously missed. To her sons, Rodney and Scotty, she was more than their best friend. Mom proved to be the shining example of courage, humor and grace in the face of all the adversity life has to offer. To her grandchildren, Granny Bob provided the same unconditional love she had for her own sons. To her many friends, Bobbi was a constant. A friend that would listen to any personal problems and be known to keep it in confidence. All who knew her will miss her strength and wise counsel. Please send donations and memorials to Hospice of the Bluegrass. 2312 Alexandria Drive, Lexington, KY 40504-3277. Guestbook at Legacy.com
