Ronald Little Obituary
October 4, 1955 - July 4, 2023
Lexington, Kentucky - Ronald W. Little passed away on July 4, 2023 after a 16 month long battle with leukemia. He is survived by his wife, Penny, daughter and son-in-law, Katherine and Jeff Jenkins, brother Mike, and many other much loved relatives. A fuller picture of his life can be found in the weeks to come on Legacy.com. A memorial service to celebrate his life of 67 years will be held on October 7th, 2:00 pm at Central Christian Church, 205 East Short Street, Lexington, Ky. 40507. Condolences can be offered as gifts to Central Christian Church, Lexington or U.K. Markey Cancer Center, Lexington.

Penny,
I hope you´ll see this even though Ron passed two years ago. We hadn´t heard and were so sad to see this obituary pop up when we were googling Coppinger & Associates. Ron was such a great guy - so wonderful to work with (he built our house on Pisgah Pike in Versailles), pleasant, kind, thoughtful, warm, attentive to detail, and a skilled professional in his craft. My heart goes out to Ron's family, I learned this news as I am writing. He was so kind to me, I am so sorry to hear this. Penny, he mentioned you so many times when He and I would have conversations during a project he was helping me with. He often described your love of antiques, as he knew I had the same interests, and would add some funny times you and he shared, as well. He absolutely and always had the biggest smile on his face whenever he mentioned you, or your daughter. I knew there was a lot of love in your family! He truly was one of the nicest, most genuine contractor (hard in this business sometimes!) honest, and as you said, hard-working person and businessman, I've known. I respected how he managed every aspect of our projects, but more importantly, the friendship we shared over the past 25 plus years. You were truly blessed to have shared this life with him, as only you know, and I am fortunate to have known him. RIP Ron

I´ve worked with Ron on most if not all his big projects. We offer old school painting and that fit him to a tee. I had the pleasure of working for both him and Gene for many years.
He was a storehouse of knowledge in the trade and loved sharing it.
I´ve never heard him say a bad thing about anyone or loose his temper. He approached his trade and workers with kindness and understanding. He will be forever missed as a shining example to all in his circle and the positive influence he´s had on us all.

I heard from Joan about Ronnie’s death. You have been in my thoughts these past days. I know we have not seen each other for years, but I feel so empty. And blessed that we have known each other.
