Ron was a wonderful Scoutmaster as well as a role model for Boy Scouts in his troupe. May God bless and comfort Martha and the family.

I enjoyed my time getting to know Ron through the Best Friends program. He was soft spoken, courteous, and friendly to everyone, qualities that are so greatly appreciated. Comforting thoughts are lifted for Ron's family.

I so sorry to hear of Ron´s passing. I hope Martha and the rest of the family are doing well.
I worked with Ron at Square D for many years "back in the day" as they say. He was my boss and my mentor. I was always welcome to come to him for advise. When I moved from engineering to the crazy "New Business Development" group, he always encouraged me and tried to get me to stay when Schneider decided to unload the ELAN group. Should have listened to his advise!
I´ll miss you Ron!

Ron and I worked together at Square D/Schneider for over 40 years. I moved to corporate headquarters outside of Chicago in 1988. We returned to Lexington in 2007. After I retired at the end of 2007 Ron asked me "So Jim when is your retirement party?" "I don´t think I want one Ron. I´ve been to a couple and it amounts to a roast of the retiree." "Jim - you don´t understand " he said with a grin. "The party isn´t for you - it´s for us!" And you know what he was right!

One of my oldest friends and classmates. "Ronnie", as I always called him, was a guest (the only one) who helped me celebrate my first birthday (due to the longtime friendship & classmates of his parents & mine). He and I enjoyed working with old family photographs & information through the years, as his family were Harrodsburg's, our hometown's renowned photographers. I will always remember my dear old friend, Ronnie. My deepest condolences to you, Martha, and to his family, & our mutual friends. Love, Judy Moore Cheney
