I knew Ronnie way back when we were in the newly established CAP in Lexington.
I think we were about 15, and I moved away in 1962, but never forgot Ronnie. His dad JT and mom were great fun-loving people, and Ronnie inherited every bit of it. My sympathy to his wife and family.

I was fortunate to have been associated with Ronnie. He was a valued member of our communications technical unit {CommTech)in the Lexington Division of Police. I will always remember Ronnie as someone who would do anything to help you and the support he gave for the Division of Police. He was also heavily involved in County, State, and Federal law enforcement organizations. He will be missed.

I WAS ON THE POLICE DEPT. FROM 1969 TO 200(PATROL). I KNEW RONNIE FROM COM. TECH. HE WAS ALWAYS FRIENDLY, HELPFUL AND JUST AN ALL AROUND NICE GUY. HE HAD A GOOD SENSE OF HUMOR. HE WAS A CLASS ACT. VERY SORRY TO HEAR OF HIS PASSING. MY SYMPATH AND REGARDS TO HIS WIFE AND FAMILY.

Ronnie McGill dedicated his life to law enforcement. His knowledge of electronics and his willingness to share his knowledge to try and make us all better officers is appreciated. A true professional, hard worker and a smile for everyone. I enjoyed working with him.
