Roxie Edmondson Obituary

WINCHESTER - Roxie Mae Edmondson,77, of Verna Drive, widow of William Edmondson, died at 10:30 pm Mon., May 16, 2005, in St. Joseph East Hospital, Lexington. A native of Powell County, she was the daughter of the late Virgil and Lillie Mae Puckett Judy. She was a homemaker and a member of the New Hope Baptist Church. Survivors include four daughters, Brenda McConnell, Danville; Judy Mae Wheeler, Lexington; Kathy Jean Barnes, Owenton, and Bobbi Newton, Winchester; three sons, Jack W. Clark and Shawn Allen Clark, Lexington, and Harold F. Clark, Georgetown, 17 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, two sisters, Frances Meredith, Lexington, and Ruby Hughes, Versailles; two brothers, Wallace Judy, Lexington, and Raymond Judy, Ohio, and several nieces and nephews. Services will be conducted at 10 am Thurs., at the Scobee Funeral Home by Rev. Jeff Ryder. Burial will be in Camp Nelson National Cemetery, Jessamine County. Pallbearers will be sons and grandsons. Friends may call 6-8 pm today. Memorials may take the form of contributions to the Veterans of Foreign Wars, 406 W. 34th St., Kansas City, MO 64111. The guestbook is at www.scobeefuneralhome.com
