Ruth Brown

DANVILLE - Ruthann Rapier Brown, 82, of Danville died July 30, 2012. She is the widow of Carlton Brown. Born July 30, 1930 in Owensboro, she was the daughter of the late Hart and Grace Rapier. Ruthann was a graduate of St. Mary-Of-The-Wood College and University of Kentucky. She is survived by a daughter Kathy (Bill) Ruth of Harrodsburg, three sons Rick (Jane) Brown of Danville, Hart (Lea Anne) Brown of Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina, and David (Christie) Brown of Versailles. A Mass of Remembrance will be 11am, Thursday at Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Church with Father Tom Farrell officiating. Visitation will be 5-8pm, Wednesday at Stith Funeral Home, Danville. Burial will be private. Memorial donations are suggested to the Boyle County Relay for Life, Ss.
