Stanley Stinnett

STINNETT Stanley Kent, 55, died Sun, Jan 25, 2015 at his residence. Born June 7, 1959 in Lexington, KY, he was the son of Rebecca Davis Stinnett and the late Stanley Porter Stinnett. Mr. Stinnett was a great sports enthusiast, a fan of the Cincinnati Reds baseball and Cincinnati Bengals football and the University of Kentucky Wildcats. He also enjoyed bowling, golfing, and fishing with the family in Okeechobee, FL. He was a member of Eastland Church of God. Survivors include two sons, Daniel Stinnett and Christopher Stinnett, both of Lexington, KY; a grandson, Matthew Keith; three sisters, Martha (Glen) Ross, Beverly (Larry) Buford, and Debbie (Clyde) Baker. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Katie Stinnett. Funeral services will be 2:30pm Wed at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home, Harrodsburg Rd., by Rev. Larry Buford and Rev. Rob Kespelher. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Brian Rugg, Elizabeth McCabe, Mike Buford, Kevin Worley, Jason Baker, Jason Keith, Harley Baker, and Billy Joe Mink. Honorary pallbearers will be the Messenger Sunday School Class. Visitation will be 5-8pm Tue and 12:30pm Wed until the service time at the funeral home.
