Thomas Daugherty Obituary

59 of Livingston, died Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at Baptist Health Hospital in Lexington surrounded by loved ones after a battle with illness. From his birth in Mt. Vernon, KY on November 4, 1959 to his death, he greatly nourished those around him with love, affection, and friendship. He was born to very loving and caring parents, Burgess and Barbara Robinson Daugherty. He was the oldest of six children. He was retired from Motorwheel of Berea and was of the Holiness Faith. He is survived by his parents, Burgess and Barbara Daugherty of Livingston. Also left to honor his memory are his five children, Kristy Nicole Vanzant and husband Ronnie of Orlando, and Thomas Wayne Daugherty, Tiffany Cara Daugherty, Clint Daugherty, and Raegan Daugherty, all of Mt. Vernon; eight grandchildren, Ethan, Alex, Lauren, and Jackson Vanzant, and Ford, Levi, Brian, and Sophia Lovell; two brothers, John Daugherty and wife Lonetta, and Tim Daugherty and wife Teresa; three sisters, Peggy Akin and husband Scott, Eva Dicken and husband Doug, and Carolyn Daugherty Carpenter; and nine nieces and nephews, Jessica, Cody, Cassidy, William, Nathan, Amelia, Mallory, Madeline, and Gus. Many other close and beloved relatives also survive. Funeral services for Mr. Daugherty will be conducted Saturday, February 2 at 1:00 PM at the Dowell & Martin Funeral Home Chapel by Bros. Jimmy Miller and Luther Allen. Burial will follow in the Daugherty Family Cemetery on Red Hill. Friends may call at Dowell & Martin Funeral Home from 6:00 to 9:00 PM Friday.
