Tommy was such a pure hearted person. He will be missed by so many. The last time I saw Tommy was at Christ Centered Church where we stopped in the hall, he hugged me and told me he loved me and I returned the notion. He was like a piece of our heavenly father here on earth who was just so comforting to be around. Im glad he wil be with Noey again and resting together in His kingdom. Tommy always thanked me for being Noey's nurse at the end and said how lucky they were but Ive always known I was the lucky one for God to have brought them into my life. So blessed to know two beautiful souls. God has them home with Him now, hallaleujah!

First of all, I would like to wish my sincere condolences to Tommy's entire family! How fortunate each of you were to have this wonderful man as a part of your family!!

James (Tommy) Howard was a dear friend, my longtime Pastor and spiritual adviser, as well as my "boss" during my more than 10 years of service as Youth Director at Christ Centered Church! I guess that I could go on and on with all of the fond memories that I have of this true servant of God, but that's not what's most important right now! I have certainly reflected on Tommy a lot since I heard of his passing, but one of the first things that came to my mind when I was informed was a vision of him and Noey holding hands and taking a long stroll down a beautiful beach in Heaven, and that thought brought, and brings, a smile to my face every time!! Oh how this man loved and missed his amazing wife, Miss Noey, as well as his entire family---most certainly including his church family!!!

There is no doubt that I learned so very much from this man and I enjoyed just talking with him and sharing stories, and I really loved to make him laugh---he had such a great personality and he loved to smile and laugh!! I/we are saddened by his earthly departure, but this man is now experiencing all of the indescribably amazing things that can only be experienced in the presence of Almighty God!!!! You will be missed by us mere mortals, but in your now immortal state, I know that you wouldn't come back even if you could!!! You are now experiencing and fully understanding everything that you taught and preached for so very many years!!! I am certainly a better man because of my relationship to James (Tommy) Howard!!!!! Very well done good and faithful servant!!!

Andrea and Shane, we have never met. I'm Tommys 1st cousin, Bette Ruth Gibson. You had a wonderful father. Tommy was always my favorite cousin. I always looked up to him, and have memories of him practicing his drums ,and marching around the house!! We lived close and I could always hear when he played them. Aunt Edith was like a second mother to me. Uncle Jim was my mothers brother. My deepest condolences to all of you. Wish I could attend the funeral and meet you, Your dad was the best
