Lexington, Kentucky - Wesley Michael Sparks, age 32, of Lexington, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, May 13, 2021 at Baptist Health Lexington. He was born September 27, 1988 in Lexington to Harry and Sherre Sparks. He was a plumber for Royal Flush Plumbing. Along with his parents, he is survived by one brother, Derek (Chrystal) Sparks of Shelbyville; one sister, Jennifer (Michael) Brinegar of Lexington; and his Papaw, James "Buddy" Drummer. He was affectionately known as Uncle Wessie to his six nieces and nephews Kara, Isaiah, Elijah, Bennett, Amelia, and Jeremiah. He was preceded in death by his Mammaws, Nellie Grace Drummer and Opal Sparks Wagers. Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 19 between 6-9 PM at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home – Harrodsburg Road. Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 20, 12:30 PM at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Blue Grass Memorial Gardens.
