Greg Gardiner Obituary

Greg Key West - Gardiner Logan Gardiner Gregory Logan Gardiner, June 9, 1958- October 4, 2025. Gregory Logan Gardiner affectionately known as "Big P," was born on June 9, 1958, in Baltimore, Maryland. He is survived by his brother and three sisters. Greg grew up in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, after his family moved there from Baltimore in 1970. He attended St. Gregory's Catholic School in Plantation and later graduated from St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Fort Lauderdale. Throughout his career, Gregory worked in the food service industry including manager at Hooters of America in Fort Myers and most recently retired from Cheney Brothers where he supplied Key West's best restaurants. He made countless friends over the years, particularly in the Florida Keys and Key West, where he was considered a beloved institution at Dante's Pool Bar on many a Saturday afternoon and often well into the evening. Known for his big personality, sharp wit, and generous heart, Big P brought laughter wherever he went. He lived life to the fullest and was a loyal friend to all who knew him. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his family and his many friends who were lucky enough to share in his laughter, his stories, and his remarkable spirit.
