Patricia De Rush Obituary

Patricia "Pat" Catherine (Nordyke) De Rush went home to be with her Savior on Monday,
October 20, 2025. She was born at home in Monroe, Oregon to Glenn Gilbert Nordyke and
Catherine Cecelia (Brooks) Nordyke.
Pat worked for the Linn County Clerk's Office and the Linn County Treasurer's Office for a
combined 30 years of service, retiring in 1998. After retiring, she and her husband Tom enjoyed
traveling throughout the State of Oregon going to antique stores looking for Candlewick Dishes
or angels to add to her collections.
Pat was a long-time member of Eastside Christian Church and a member of Faith Family
Christian Church (Longview, WA). She coordinated the Operation Christmas Child Shoebox
Ministry and the Golden Heirs Ministry to seniors at Eastside. Pat was a member of the
Mary/Martha Group and helped with the FISH food box distribution at Faith Family.
Pat was preceded in death by her husband Tom, parents Glenn and Catherine, siblings Robert
Nordyke, Mary Alldridge, and Norma Lloyd.
Pat leaves behind a daughter and son-in-law Teresa (Mike) Martin, son Craig De Rush along
with nephew Russell Alldridge, niece Renee Howerton, niece Vicki Adams and nephew Mark
Lloyd and two granddaughters and two great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life service will be held in Pat's honor on Saturday, November 8, 2025 at 1:00
p.m. at Eastside Christian Church, 1910 Grand Prairie Rd SE, Albany, OR 97322 with a time of
fellowship and cookies to follow.
The family would be honored to receive contributions in Pat's memory for the purchase of Bibles
through the Gospel of The Gideons International.
