Robert Starns Obituary

Robert (Doc) L. Starns, 88, of Junction City Oregon passed away early Saturday Morning, September 13, 2025, at his home. He was born November 11, 1936, on the land he lived his life. He was the son of Elbert and Velma Starns. He grew up in Junction City, Or. And spent two years in the Army and returned back to his home in Junction City. He had his own shop as a gun smith then retired from Parker-Hannifin Corporation as an Engineer. Oct 2, 2001, he married, Anita L. Wells in Reno Nevada. He loved singing Karaoke, going on cruises, enjoying life. Robert (Doc) helped with the historical society, and he loved putting on the "Junction City Little Opry" for Charity. Survivors include: His wife, Anita L. Starns, His Son, Shannon L. Starns and daughter-in-law Marie Renee Starns all living in Junction City. His two Granddaughters, Sierra Marie Haggard and her husband Dan Haggard, and Laraine Starns. His sister, Selma L. (Starns) Bartley. His stepchildren, Jean Smith and husband Paul Smith, Bobbie Jo Blunk, Linda Sue Towle, and Ruben Walker from his marriage to Anita. Planning to have a celebration of life with family and friends in the spring. Family has asked in leu of flowers and such; to make a donation to: Education Together Foundation, P.O. Box 523, Junction City Or 97448 in memory of Robert L. Starns.
