Sarah Couch Obituary

Sarah Bonita Couch, 70, of Foster, passed away Thursday, October 9, 2025. She was born December 20, 1954 to Frieda Harriet (Fisher) and Carl Robert David Zastrow in Lebanon, Oregon. She was raised in Foster. Sarah married Glen Couch in Corvallis. She lived in Junction City, Monroe and back to Foster in 1999. Sarah loved to go rockhounding. She was a great artist, crafter and would sell her cards at events and bazaars. She also enjoyed quilting. She is survived by her daughter Sabrina Schweitzer of Homer Alaska; son Robert Couch of Ephrata, Washington; siblings: Sylvia Smith of Foster, Paul Fastrow of Hood River, Annie Shields of Foster, six grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents Carl and Frieda Zastrow, husband Glen Darrell Couch (2017), sister Patricia Irby, brother Benjamin Zastrow. Memorial service will be at a later date. Sarah was a longtime friend and neighbor. I always enjoyed visiting with her. Her artwork was beautiful. She will be fondly remembered forever. My sympathy to her family. Rest in peace, Sarah.
