Mary Kubista Obituary

Mary A "Allie" Kubista Mary Alice Kubista, 84, of Rochester MN, died Wednesday July 23, 2025 at 3:00 pm at her home. Mary was born February 22, 1941 in Owatonna MN to James Harris and Mary Harris (Blouin). She graduated from Owatonna high school in 1959. Mary was Married to Paul Kubista September 22,1962 at Sacred Heart Church Owatonna. Mary had many hobbies she enjoyed reading, loved to bake and family and friends get togethers. When we we're young and eventually grand children came along she enjoyed going camping and fishing up north. But remember Mary's idea of camping is a nice warm cabin with the amenities. Mary loved to travel with Paul and they could always find some small unique wineries to or just fun places to go. She is survived by her husband Paul, children Ken Kubista, Rochester, MN ; Kevin Kubista (Stacy Williams), Rochester, MN; Karynn Jason (Fette) of Mankato, MN; ten grandchildren; two great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, and a sister in law. The services will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday July 29, 2025, Pax Christi Church with father John Sauer o ciating. Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Monday, July 28, 2025, Macken Funeral home, and one hour prior to service on Tuesday. The burial with be at Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery, Preston, MN. The family requests that memorial gifts be designated for the boys and girls club.
