Patrick Jager Obituary

Patrick Carl Jager Patrick Carl Jager, (56) passed away unexpectedly in his home on August 24th, 2025. Patrick was born September 30th, 1968, in Mankato, Minnesota to Carl and Kathy Jager. He graduated from Cactus High School in Glendale, AZ in 1987. He attended college in Azusa Pacific University in California, and met and married Marcia Warren in 1994, and they had two children, and moved to Minnesota, where he began his long career at Mayo Clinic in 1998. Patrick worked a a nursing assistant, on the surgical corps, and most recently as Desk Operations Specialist. Along the way, Patrick acquired his Masters Degree in Library and Information Science at St. Catherine's University in 2014. Patrick was a man who was passionate about his family and the arts. He had a beautiful singing voice, he loved painting, and was quite a thespian. He loved to read, and was dedicated to yearly trips to the Minnesota Renaissance Festival with his children. More recently Patrick was exploring his own oil and acrylic painting. Patrick was preceded in death by his mother Kathleen Jager; Patrick is survived by his two children; Benjamin Carl Jager of Twin Cities, MN, and Jessica June Jager of Rochester, MN, father Carl Jager (Dianne) of Marana, AZ, sister Tamara (Brian) Baker of Phoenix. A celebration of life is being planned by the family.

My deepest condolences for your loss. Pat always was so helpful and caring. He always went above and beyond to help me with patients and always made sure I had everything I needed to do my job. He is dearly missed and will always be missed in our department.
