Gerald (Jerry) Edson Obituary
He was born in Big Lake, Minn. A veteran of World War II, he served in the Naval Air Force in Guadalcanal. Jerry and his wife, Elaine (Sue), moved to King City, where he owned his business JERRY'S REFRIGERATION from 1951-1968. He was a lifetime member of the KC VFW and a 4-H leader with his five children.
In 1969, he and Sue moved to Citrus Heights, Calif. He retired from the P&P Union and was active in his church, Elks and SIRS. He loved fishing, camping and traveling the world with Sue and was married for 58 years.
He is survived by his children: Laurie, Bonnie, Jerry, Jenny, Sally; seven grandkids & 11 great-grandkids. Jerry was married to Vera Cravens from 2008 -2018, and has three stepchildren.
The memorial service for Gerald "Jerry" Edson will be held in Sparks on Aug. 21, 2021 at The Cornerstone Church.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Honor Flight NV or VFW.
