Lorraine Escobar Obituary
Dee was born on September 10, 1930 in San Diego, California. She moved to Monterey County as a small child and lived out the remainder of her life in the area. She met and married her husband of 60 years, Edward "Eddie" Escobar and had two children. Dee was a nurturing woman who gave of her time, active in her church, working in pre-schools and volunteering at Mee Memorial Hospital for over 10 years. She was a Mother, Aunt, Grandma and Great Grandma and is missed by all who knew and loved her.
Dee was preceded in death by her husband Eddie Escobar and her granddaughter, Ashley Escobar. She is survived by her sons, Manny (Debbie) Escobar, Earl (Cindy) Escobar, grandchildren Leanne Escobar, Andrea Escobar, JD (Lauren) Escobar, Joe (Crystal) Escobar, great grandchildren Josh Escobar, Cambria Osborn, Andrea Graffagnino, Addison Escobar, Brycen Escobar, Reagan Kirkby, Charlee Escobar and her brother, Frank (Judy) Wibiral.
There will be a celebration of life for Dee on Tuesday, February 6, 2024 at 11:30am at the Salinas Valley Fair Orradre Building.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Kingdom City Church, PO Box 788, King City, CA 93930.

I am so sorry for your loss!!! Your Mom was a strong, kind and hardworking woman!! I will forever remember the beautiful HUGE salads and sides she could create, so yummy!! She will be forever in my heart. Sending love to you all as you morn the loss of such a huge icon.

Mom was a beautiful soul. Words can not express the heart break Manny & I feel at the loss of her. Mom will forever be with us until we are together again. Heaven gained an angel and we lost one. Mom, we love you so much. Kiss Dad for us.
