Patricia "Pat" Ann Thommarson (née Harrmann), 82 of
Grants Pass, Oregon passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on February 7, 2026.
Pat was born February 4, 1944, to Adeline Sweeny and Michael Harrmann in
Manhattan, Kansas. Pat and her family moved to Salinas, California where she attended Washington Junior Middle School and then went on to attend Salinas High School graduating in 1961. School years were happy filled with many good friends and memories.
In the summer of 1961, Pat, along with her mother, moved to
King City, California. This is where she would meet her future husband, Wendell "Winky" Thommarson. They would marry in December of 1961 and begin their life together. They were blessed with three daughters, Robin, Denise and Nicole. Pat's life revolved around Winky and her girls, they were her joy. The care and love for her family was endless.
Pat worked at Basic in King City for many years. She also worked for Buttgereit, Pettit & Davis as well as Dole in Gonzales. She and Winky also co-owned The Corner Cottage in King City for many years. After retiring from Dole and moving to San Miguel, California, she went to work for Walmart in Customer service.
Pat was involved with the PTA while her girls were in school. She was always there for every activity showing her unwavering support for them. She and Winky loved to play cards with friends each week. She loved to sew and make quilts. They loved spending their summers at the lake with family and friends who became family, the Pozzi's and the Larson's. She and Winky often travelled in their RV to many beautiful places. In her golden years, she loved to read, do puzzles, paint, garden, get a nice manicure and pedicure with her favorite pink color, enjoy Coke over ice and a good chocolate bar but her favorite thing to do was spend time with her family. She would spend her Sunday afternoons with the babies of her tribe, Brynlee, Addi and Aiden as well as spending time with her grandson Ace Legend. She also loved to Facetime her great-granddaughter Wren in Oklahoma. They brought so much joy to her life every day.
Pat is survived by her daughters, Robin Dalton (Bob Stace) of
King City, California, Denise Silveira of
Grants Pass, Oregon, Nicole Thommarson Perez of
Grants Pass, Oregon; and her son, Jim Morton of Woodland, California.
Pat, also lovingly known as G'ma and Neema, is survived by 7 grandchildren: Kristina Spears of Redmond, OR, Kourtney Wooldridge of Oklahoma, Emilee Silveira of
Grants Pass, OR., Zoe Montoya of
Grants Pass, OR., Marlee Trevino of
Grants Pass, OR., James Morton of
Woodland, CA and Destiny Morton of
Woodland, CA. And 10 great-grandchildren: Amelia, Kasen and Bohdi Spears, Jack and Jace Kessler, Wren Wooldridge, Ace Legend Riddell, Brynlee, Adelynn and Aiden Castro.
Also survived by her sister-in-law, Leanne Thommarson of Cota De Caza, CA.; nephew, RJ Thommarson (Shawn) of Cota De Caza, CA.; great nephew, Braden Thommarson; and great niece, Chiara Thommarson; and Winky's aunt, Juanita Coleman of Azle, Texas. Lastly, she lovingly leaves behind her beloved dog, Posey who is now being cared for by her grandson Ace Legend.
Pat is preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Winky, her grandson Travis Thommarson and her son in law Rudy Perez.
At Pat's request, no services will be held but we ask those who would like to honor her to donate to the amazing hospice house, Celia's House in Medford, Oregon. You can make a special tribute in Pat's honor whose life has been forever touched by Celia's House in Holmes Park. Pat will be deeply missed by her family and friends. She will live on through us all in our stories, our traditions and in the unconditional love she poured into so many. We are grateful for every moment we had with her and we will carry her with us always. So, if you would love to honor her, pour yourself a Coke over ice and enjoy a good chocolate bar.
