Annie Harper Obituary

May 6, 1932 - Oct. 31, 2007

MOUNT OLIVE - Annie Belle Deaver Harper, age 75, died Wednesday, October 31, 2007, at Sunbridge Care & Rehabilitation Center of Mount Olive. Born in Lenoir County, she was the daughter of the late Jesse & Laura Alphin Deaver and wife of the late Fred Harper. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 3, 2007, at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Wayne Memorial Park. Mrs. Harper is survived by two sons, Owen Scott Harper and wife Sharon, of the Grantham Community, David Dwight Harper and wife Mary, of Goldsboro; one daughter, Dolores Harper Loftin and husband Joel, of Kinston.; four brothers, Horace Deaver, Jesse Deaver and Bobby Deaver all of Kinston, Pete Deaver of Middlesex.; one sister, Virginia Tyndall of Kinston; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. The Harper family will greet friends Saturday morning at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home one hour prior to the funeral service. Online condolences may be sent through www.shumate-faulk.com.
