Nellie Barrow Conklin

KINSTON - Nellie Barrow Conklin, 92, of Kinston, passed away on Saturday, November 17, 2018, at her home. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Inez Barrow; first husband, Frank Jr. Harrison, second husband, Ervin "Diddy Bo" Conklin; son, Randy H. Conklin; sisters, Gaynell Taylor and Catheleen Barrow; brothers, Joseph Barrow, Willard Barrow, L.D. Barrow and Robert Barrow; and brother-in-law Fred Foyles. Survivors include her daughter, Treva C. Baker (Terry); son Ricky Harrison (Debby); grandchildren, Barnaby Conklin, Lindsey Jones, Sarah Baker, Morgane Taylor all of Kinston, Kelly Brinn of Greenville, Ryan Harrison, Tyler Harrison, Aaron Baker of Florida, and Krystle B. Schoonveld of Arizona; great-grandchildren Rinna Conklin, Reece Conklin, William Harrison, Mackenzie Jones, Townsley Brinn, Vaela Brinn, Jhett Brinn, Tateum Schoonveld, Cameron Schoonveld, Adriana Schoonveld and one great-grandson on the way, Wyatt Harrison; sister Dorothy B. Foyles; brother Macon (Monk) Barrow and many nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 25, 2018, at Wheat Swamp Christian Church with Pastor Hank Jarman officiating. Visitation will follow the service.
