Born May 21, 1930 in Indianapolis, IN - Passed away October 5, 2018 in Bremerton, WA.

Son of Lantus R. and Thelma F. (Rose) Montgomery

Enlisted in the Navy on April 24, 1949; retired as Master Chief in 1975.

Married Mary Loretta Mueller on November 14, 1950 and divorced August 17, 1983.

Children: Dwayne, Pamelia, Carol, Dale (Debbie), Don (Teresa) Montgomery.

Stepchildren: Sheri (Tom) Kurzynski and Scott (Melissa) Roark.

Married Dolores E. (Milne) Roark on August 15, 1984.

Preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Joyce, Gary Montgomery, Barbara Fordyce, Dorothy Janssen and grandson Christopher, numerous nieces and nephews, 15 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren.

Served on the Bremerton City Council, District 8, from September 1994 through 1999. He was the Council Vice President in 1998. Carlos spent many long hours serving his community.

There was no funeral at his request. He was buried at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent, WA.

We had many great memories when he would visit at Grandpa Montgomery's farm in central Indiana . . .

Carlos was an incredible man and will be missed. Praying for his wife and children. I only had the last three years to get to know him Thank you Carlos for your service to our country and most of all thank you for helping raise the love of my life.
