Bainbridge Island, WA
David F. LaFave, 78, former manager of Winslow Wharf Marina, Bainbridge Island, and longtime Bainbridge Island resident, recently passed away in Seattle on July 25, 2018. The family wishes to announce a memorial honoring Dave's life to be held Thursday, August 16th, 1pm at Eagle Harbor Congregational Church on Bainbridge Island, 105 Winslow Way W, Bainbridge Island, WA 98110.

Very sorry to hear of Dave's passing, my deepest sympathy for his family. I have many fond memories of Dave and I am so grateful that my time working for him at TRF grew into a friendship that I was so very fortunate to have. You will be greatly missed by all!

Dave was a good friend and he will be missed by us all. My prayers go out to his and Marlene's family. We've had many good times through the years and I have no doubt he's re-telling old sea stories with shipmates and other friends who've gone before him.
