I am so sorry to read of the passing of George. He was one of the first persons to welcome me to the neighborhood. I will surely miss him. My prayers and condolences go out to the family.

I met George when he visited Central Kitsap High School after Bailey's death. George became a welcome visitor at our "YSBP" (Youth Suicide and Bullying Prevention) group that we held after school. He loved chatting with the students and shared many stories about his life with his family--mostly with his grandchildren. Mr. Eads had a special magnet-like quality and knew how to speak with teenagers about life--and how precious it was. Our group presented a break out session at the Kitsap Youth Rally a few years ago and George joined us to present his story of "life after Bailey." He touched many hearts that day, both students and adult attendees.
He was such a kind, thoughtful, and positive man and we became friends. I will miss you George and I'm sorry we had not touched base in a few months. I pray your lovely family will find comfort in loving memories and know that those of us who had the blessing of crossing his path will miss him greatly. "You did 'good' George!!"

I was saddened to hear of the passing of Brother Eads. To me he was never George. But his love for everybody he knew will always stand out in my mind. He always had open arms to greet you with and he seemed to know everything that was going on. I remember several times when Suzanne and I would see him somewhere, look at each other and say, "How did he know this was happening?" or "I didn't even know Brother Eads knew her." His kind heart and gentle manner will forever be missed. I always appreciated his willingness to throw his arms around me and gently ask me how things were going. He will remain a true friend to me always.
