John Fergerson Sr., 61, of Bremerton, passed away on Oct.14, 2018 in Yakutat, Alaska. He was born on May 19, 1957 to Ruth Bates. He was a graduate of Merced High School in Merced, CA. John proudly served in the US Army from 1976-1985 earning many awards and medals. He married Frances Collins on December 1, 1981 in Dillon, SC. John worked for the Washington State Ferries. He enjoyed fishing, watching football and spending time with his family. John was preceded in death by his mother, son, and 2 brothers. He is survived by his wife, son, 5 brothers, 2 sisters, 4 grandchildren, many extended family members and friends. Viewing will be held on Oct. 27 from 10-1pm with a funeral service to follow at Lewis Funeral Chapel, 5303 Kitsap Way, Bremerton, WA 98312. Please visit his online guestbook at www.lewischapel.com.

Francis, words can not express the sorrow I feel, because of the loss of your Johnny, he was such a joy to be around, there was never a dull moment whenever he was in our presence. Johnny you will be greatly missed.
