John- aka Wolf - you complex- intriguing enigma Not one second of one hour of one day goes by- without me thinking about you. As long as I still have breath- you will never be forgotten. Sorry I accidentally pulled up the Dahlias- but they came back! Both purple and orange. Just like everything you cared for- they keep growing.
You and I had the same spiritual beliefs- so I know you at least have a sense of who and what in your life was authentic. I am sorry for your sake that some cannot relate to respecting the sacred.
Now- I don´t know what it´s like where you are- but I have wrestled and struggled with the acts of some. You knew my fighter spirit and my fierceness for those I love!
But I have kept all my silver arrows safely in the quiver. They are always with me- but you taught me restraint- the futility of trying to reach closed or venomous minds and hearts. And so- I have shown great restraint- and I have focused on ways to honor you!
Up on the ridge
You ARE there still
The lamb stop frolicking
She´s losing her will
We had merged in a way
Not many do
When your soul left the gate
Pieces of me
Stayed with you
Life´s different now
I rarely feel joy
But I´m still here for others
Because of the boy
You know the caveat
You know my heart
Yes somedays I stand
Waiting for that last fatal dart
By time goes on
One day- then tomorrow
The magic´s well hidden
Behind clouds of sorrow
But golden gifts such as this
Are like being beside you
Like the day at the shores
Splashing- freezing- bare souled and true blue.
Until next time Big John
You know where to find me
You always will
Your magic still binds me
