Nancy Haskins Obituary

Nancy Beth Haskins

Port Orchard, WA

Sep. 28, 1957 to mar. 9, 2018

With great sadness, we announce the passing of Nancy Beth Brown Haskins; our beloved mother, daughter, sister, aunt, grandmother, and friend.

Nancy was well-loved and had a zest for life, a passion for quilting, and an adoration of cats. She was a gifted and energetic storyteller who always had us laughing. She was bright and bubbly and always lit up the room.

She was preceded in death by her father Earnest in July 2013, and is survived by her mother Phyllis; sons Justin (Miranda) Haskins and Jared (Stacia) Haskins; grandson Jordy Haskins; former husband and still-devoted friend Joe Haskins; sister Bonnie (Mark) Belvin; brother Thomas (Sonja) Brown; brother Dan (Kellie) Brown; sister Catherine (Scott) Hoehne; and numerous cousins, nephews and nieces, and her cat, Scamper.

Nancy was loving and caring and had the sweetest heart in the whole world and we all will miss her dearly.

Nancy was my highschool best friend. She had a sense of humor and we were always laughing we were all really silly girls. We got into our share of mischief. When I had my children Nancy alway sent me a note on my meal trays in hospital. I have them all to this very day. I think of you often Nancy, you left a permanent imprint on my soul I love you my friend. We will meet again as promised by out Lord.
