Alfred was very sweet spirited and kind. I will never forget his smile. I was always amazed by his efforts and determination he shown while working for the University of Tennesse. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

Al was a great guy who is truly missed. He shared a lot of stories with me before I left for the navy. Over the years he became a big brother to me.
