AUDREY HESTER

HESTER, AUDREY - of Kingston, lost her valiant fight with cancer on April 7, 2014. She was a special lady who was so much to so many people of the community and will greatly missed. She was a lifelong member of Laurel Bluff Baptist Church and served as Treasurer for over 60 years. She enjoyed gardening, canning, sewing and of course helping others. She loved and raised many children over the years and was a great influence in many lives. Preceded in death by parents Allen and Daisy Hester, brothers Leonard Newton; Raymond P. and Harvey L. Hester and sister Emma May Hester. Survivors include: brother and sister in law Henry and Patricia Hester of Oliver Springs; and several special nieces and nephews. The family would like to give special thanks to Laurel Bluff Baptist Church, Nora and Don Long, Dot Matthews, Irene Knight, Joann Wright, Pam Bryant and Linda Moon. Funeral 8:00 p.m. Wednesday April 9, 2014 in the Kyker Chapel with Rev. Don Long officiating. The body will lie-in-state from 11:00 am until 12:00 Noon Thursday at the Laurel Bluff Baptist Church with burial to follow in Laurel Bluff Cemetery.
