Bea White Obituary

WHITE, BEA - age 76 of Lenoir City, passed away Wednesday, January 7, 2009 at her home. She was of the Baptist faith and was retired from the Y-12 Plant in Oak Ridge. Preceded in death by her father, Avery McDaniel; mother, Gladys Hensley McDaniel Green; sister, Juanita Poe; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Rex and Laura Belle White. Survived by her children, Tammy Littleton, Mark White and wife, Susan all of Lenoir City; grandchildren, Chase and Melina Littleton, Caitlyn, Emily and J. Riley White; sisters, Polly Bolt of Indiana, Bobbie Bonham and Nell Sessions both of Ohio; brothers, Jim Green of Ohio, Johnny Green of Virginia and Gary Green of Ohio; several nieces and nephews; former spouse, Tommy White of Lenoir City. The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to Bea's special angel and caregiver, Peggy Plemons. Additional thanks to all those who have helped care for Bea during this time. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p. m. Friday at Click Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 7 p. m. with Rev. Jim Dallery officiating. Family and friends will gather at the funeral home by 10:30 a.m. Saturday and proceed to the Lakeview Cemetery for graveside services at 11 a. m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Down Syndrome Awareness Group of East Tennessee, P. O. Box 53575, Knoxville, TN 37950 or Special Olympics.
