Billy (Bill) Paul Isaacs, 87, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 6, 2019 with his loving family by his side.

Bill was born on November 24, 1931, in Booneville, KY. He later moved to Dayton, OH where he met and married the love of his life, Novella Holt Isaacs. Bill was an employee of General Motor's Corporation for 30 years. He was also an active member of Moraine Heights Baptist Church.

After retiring, Bill and Novella moved to the Knoxville area to be close to their sons and extended family. He joined Gravestone Baptist Church, became a licensed professional barber, pursed his passion for song writing and spent time

traveling. His biggest joy came from spending time with his family and particularly his six grandchildren. Bill was known for his generosity, sense of humor, and prolific storytelling

abilities. He was a Mason and a Veteran of the Korean War.

Bill was preceded in death by his five brothers and sister. He leaves behind his wife of 57 years, Novella Isaacs, his two sons, Gregory P. Isaacs and wife Melissa, and Alan M. Isaacs and wife Tonja. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Tyler and wife Macy, Emily, Zachary, Jacob, Jared, and Mary Grace Isaacs.

The family will receive friends from 2pm to 4pm on Sunday, January 13 at Rose Mortuary Mann Heritage Chapel with a Funeral Service following at 4pm. Graveside service will be held 11:30 am on Monday, January 14 at East Tennessee State Veterans' Cemetery, Gov. John Sevier Hwy.
