So thankful to have known such a great guy from high school to adulthood. Will never forget the heroic action from Brent more than 25 years ago. Brent saved my two kids in the car while my wife went into the convenient store. Brent saw my 7 year old playing with car shifter and suddenly noticed the car moving. He heroically jumped in and stopped my wife's car from rolling backwards into on coming Kingston pike traffic at night. Thank you my friend! You are a real Hero!

Wow what a shock I just heard the news of Brent's passing almost 2 years after it happened. So sad. Met Brent in 4th grade one of the first friends I had when I moved to Tennessee. We drifted apart over the years but ill never forget his friendliness. We lost one of the good ones. To his family, know that you will be in my prayers.

Our deepest condolences, thoughts and prayers are with you all. We loved Brent. He was a good friend to my son, J.D., and to us as well. I don't think he ever met a stranger. What a big heart. What a personable guy. Far too young to be gone from his wife, children, and family. God Bless you all. Denny & Becky Smith.

Lida, Billy, Teresa....the shock of this news is still disturbing to me. Your family welcomed me 15 years ago as an employee of American Clothing. Little did I know at that time the relationship that I would grow with all of you. I have always described Brent and Billy as big brothers to me. The Bryan family has always been so kind to me, and the world has truly lost an incredible man. Brent will be sorely missed but I know he will now be watching over all of us. My love, thoughts, and prayers are with all of you!

October 21, 2011

Lida, this was such a shock. My Aimee and Brent were friends at Farragut and are the same age; this is just too young to lose a child. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Jo (Kelley) Kennedy

My heart is heavy with pain this morning. The Bryan's were like a second family to me at one time. Billy and Brent I called my baby brothers.
I pray that Lida, Billy, Teresa and the kids will find strength in each other and may Gods strength lift you up during this time of sadness.
My thoughts, prayers and love to each of you.

Still in shock....Brent was a great friend, always smiling and always their to help. He called me in March said he wanted to visit with me on his trip to Fl. I so wish we were able to visit and share a drink like we did so many times, just heartbreaking. Cannot be their for the celebration of his life, but I will certainly be in spirit and will be thinking of his family and friends. God speed Doctor, you will be missed....
