To my dear sweet Uncle Bruce,
It was a joy and a great blessing to have you as an uncle. I have admired and loved you for as long as I can remember. You were always fun to be with - witty, engaging, and probably most of all, charming. I will miss you and never forget you. Rest in peace, Uncle Sweetie.

I feel blessed by having the privilege of being friends with Bruce.  I  will never forget the gift of laughter that he gave to me and our fellow coworkers at Enterprise.  I still remember seeing your theater pictures and thinking that this is a man who is larger than life.  Bruce was a gentleman, a traveler, and a scholar.
Bud, my deepest condolences to you and your family. His gift of laughter made a troublesome day seem trivial.
Bruce you truly will be missed. Thank  God for men of integrity like Bruce.

Eddie and I have been remembering Bruce as we are driving back from a shoot in FL. So many wonderful memories. Bruce is completely responsible for introducing me into my lifelong career of working in television. He was a walker at West Town Mall and I worked at Merle Norman he recruited me to interview with Ross Bagwell to work on I-40 Paradise as makeup and that began my lifelong career. Bruce gave so much to life he truly lived to the fullest always finding fun and interesting things to do. He will be missed by many from all walks of life. I am traveling with Eddie Speeks and we both send our thoughts and prayers to the entire Ribble Family.

I am so sad to learn of Bruce's death. I have known him almost my entire life and even though I didn't see him often, we always picked up where we left off when we did run into each other. My condolences go out to his family and to all those who knew and loved him. A special hug to Bud who has lost his beloved twin.

Bruce was a true renaissance man and personified what a gentleman should be in every aspect of his intriguing life. I count myself very fortunate to have met Bruce and gotten to know him this past year. Bruce's charm, wit, and sense of humor never faltered throughout his time in the hospital and he fought to live like none other. In perfect Bruce style he regularly rejected the Doctor’s prognosis and gave us an encore performance each and every day.

My thoughts are with his twin brother Bud as well as the family and friends that loved him. Bruce's absence will certainly make the sky a little greyer for us all.

We were sorry to hear about Bruce, he was always smiling and would help anytime he was needed. He will be missed by all that knew him. Our prayers are with the family.

Bruce, you will be missed. Here in Knoxville, it seems like you were indirectly or directly responsible for many actors/directors growth. Such a encouraging man! I pray the Ribbles and their respective families can be comforted knowing that he was being prepared for a new life with Christ. Heaven will be filled with glorius song, dance, joy and creativity with John and Bruce in the midst of things. Love, Cindy Robertson Greene
