Caroline Elaine Cogdill, age 67 of Knoxville, passed away Saturday, May 7. She was a licensed beautician in her early years, and retired from Fi-Shock, Inc. Mrs. Cogdill loved family times together.
She was preceded in death by her husband Lawrence E. Cogdill, Sr.; parents Edward Drover and Berneda Binzen; brothers Paul, Colin, and Charlie Drover; sister Annette Helton; son-in-law Michael Elsberry; grandson Andrew Kitts. Survivors: son: Lawrence E. Cogdill, Jr. (Tammy Darling); daughters: Sonya and Jeffrey Kitts, Cynthia Elsberry; grandchildren: Jessica and Jacob Cogdill, Kendra Cogdill, Cory Kitts, Jonathan and Jaiden (Parrott); great-grandchildren: Rylee Parrott, Wesley Cogdill, Kyznley Kitts; sister-in-law: Lonnie Drover; sisters: Julia and Keven Gustafson, Theresa and Paul Yehl; special nieces: Lisa McCown, Tracy Cloud; many more nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends 1:00-2:00 PM Saturday with memorial service to follow at 2:00 PM in Atchley's Seymour Chapel, Deacon Dean Bury officiating. Inurnment to follow memorial service in Atchley's Seymour Memory Gardens, 122 Peacock Court, Seymour, TN. 37865 (865)577-2807. Online condolences may be made at www.atchleyfuneralhome.com

Words can't express how very sorry i am for your loss. Cindy, your mom was such a sweet lady. Our precious Lord was just ready to bring all her sweetness to heaven. But she left plenty here in you that will continue on. You took good care of your mama, and she knows just how much you loved her. She will be with you forever. May God comfort your family at this time. I love you.
