Clinton, TN

Carrie Loy Kessler, age 90, of Clinton, passed away June 13, 2015 at Golden Living Center-Windwood. She was born September 9, 1924 in Union County, TN. She was a member of Farmers Grove Baptist Church. Carrie worked for many years in her own shop as a beautician and she enjoyed working in the Home Demonstration Club.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Kessler; parents, James Bishop and Bessie Loy; brothers, Lee, Millard, Roy, and Harley Loy; sister, Pearl Sexton. Survivors: son, Dennis White and wife Karen, of Ohio; sister, Myrtle Green, of Clinton; grandchildren, Bradley White and wife Kristin, Angela White Crobeck and husband Jeff; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, June 16th from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m., at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 17th at 11:00 a.m., at Farmers Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Holley-Gamble Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. www.holleygamble.com.

God has taken home another angel. Rest in peace now with all of our loved ones that have been waiting for us! So glad that I was there to see my sweet aunt's smile one more time! I will love and miss you always! Your niece Marsha

Carrie was very special to us and I believe she is now at rest. I told my wife when we visited her on Sunday she was getting ready to go home, and she did. We are praying for the whole family. May God Bless you all Rev. Joe Copeland and wife Sue
