Charles Coats Obituary

COATS, CHARLES EDWARD (Fuzzy) - 56 departed this life and entered into eternal life on April 12, 2006. Preceded in death by parents, William and Beatrice Coats; brother, W. George Coats, Jr.; sisters, Brenda Saffell, Karen Coats, Doretha Middlebrook, Emma Jean Hairston and Phyllis Waters. Survivors, children, Charlette and Carlya Coats, Charles (Tanya) Coats; grandchildren, Brandon, Dreama, Christian, and Jamicah Coats; sisters, Margaret Lynch, Lola Coats and Mrs. Juanita Isom; brothers, Lawrence and Ronald Coats; brother-in-law, Dan Waters; special friends and cousins to include, Tina Long, Terry, Susie Smith; Major Talbert, Gus Hall, Greg Thaxton and host of nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends, 11:30-12:00 noon, Monday at Payne Avenue Baptist Church; funeral service, 12:00 noon, Rev. Richard S. Brown Jr., officiating. Interment Tennessee State Veteran's Cemetery. Family will assemble at 3221 Wilson Avenue. Arrangements by Jarnigan & Son Mortuary.
