A friend closer than a brother. We grew up in one another's homes. Charlie remains a huge part of who I am today. I wish I had been a better friend to him over the second half of his life. My heart goes out to Cindy and the whole family as they grieve the loss (and celebrate the life) of such a true heart. Kim and I keep you in our prayers.

"There is a friend who is closer than a brother . . .."
Charles was that friend to me. We literally and figuratively grew up together. Always in one another's houses, he was-and remains-an intergral part of who I am. I wish I had been a better friend to him in the second half of life. He was the best friend a person could know. My sympathy to his dear family on their loss of a such a true heart.
