Charles E. Reilly, 88, of Meriden, formally of Medford, MA, husband of Charlotte (Amerena) Reilly, died April 9, 2016.
Charles was a U.S. Army World War II Veteran having served in the Pacific Theatre and was a payroll Auditor for 39 years for One Beacon in Hamden, CT.
In addition to his wife Charlotte, he leaves five children, Gary and his wife Cheryl of Meriden, Jeffrey and his wife Paige of Killingworth, Patti Thorpe and her husband Peter of Bath, NH, Karen Terapane and her husband Robert of Meriden, CT, and Joseph and his wife Geraldine of Meriden; his four grandchildren, Jailene Wallace of Ware, NH, Devon and Eric Reilly of Meriden, and Nikki Terapane of Meriden; his sister, Lorraine Risteen of Texas; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, “Skip” of Texas; and his sister, Mary LeBlanc of Wakefield, MA.
His family will receive relatives and friends in The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 N. Main St. Ext., Tuesday, April 12, from 4 to 7 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10 a.m. directly at St. Rose of Lima Church in Meriden. Interment will be private.
