PASTOR CHARLES HENRY SEITZ

SEITZ, PASTOR CHARLES HENRY - age 90, of Vonore, passed away Thursday, January 1, 2015. He was a retired Seventh Day Adventist minister and also was a former youth camp director and church trust worker. Charles was an avid ham radio operator and private pilot. He owned and operated a 1/3 scale steam train in Northern California that could pull 50 children. Charles grew his own kiwi orchard, loved softball and singing. He was a positive person with a playful sense of humor. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Arlene Church Seitz; parents, Edward David Seitz and Rhea Cecil Bernard Seitz; brother, Edward Bernard Seitz; sisters, Margaret Seltmann and Helen Seltmann; step son, Roy Matthew and niece, Marlene Seltmann Anderson. Survived by his wife, Bette Gryzwa Seitz; step children, Melinda Bern and husband John, Jennifer Buckland and husband Michael, Douglas Matthews and wife Helen; nieces, Coleen Stanley and husband Richard, Char Peterson and husband Will; nephews, Bob Seitz and wife Trish, Ed Seltmann and wife Jan, Ben Seltmann and wife Cindy, Larry Seltmann and wife Carolyn; several other nieces and nephews.
