Clint Crisp Obituary

CRISP, CLINT HOUK - born December 23, 1926 left this world for a better place September 18, 2010. He was of the Methodist faith and proudly served in the United States Navy. He owned a successful woodworking business for most of his life. He was a hard working family man but what he loved best was farming his land. He was preceded in death by his wife Betty Jane Crisp, parents Rosa and Houk Crisp, sister Dora Allen and brothers Albert and Johnny Crisp, daughter Penny Boler, son Larry Crisp. Survived by sister Ruby Miller, daughter and son-in-law Patsy and Eddie Sutton. He leaves four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 6 - 8 pm Thursday at Weaver Funeral Home. Family and friends will meet 1:15 pm Friday at East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery for a 1:30 graveside service. Patsy, I was so sad to hear of your Dad's passing. I have thought of him and your Mom so often and they were so special to me. I also was sorry to hear of Larry's passing. Just know that you and the family are in my prayers. Brenda Hatchett Holder

Patsy and all family,
I am so very sorry to have heard of Clint's passing today. I am leaving town today and will not be able to attend the service, for which I am sorry. However, our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
