I miss Uncle Dave a lot. I didn't want to believe it when I found out. It seems like yesterday you guys were picking me up from the airport. I miss you all a lot, I tell my kids about of all the family they have in Tennessee :)
Thank you Uncle Dave for all the love and support, wisdom, all the laughs and for just being an awesome person. You always understood what I was trying to say. No matter how much time went by, I would fly in and when I'd see you guys, you welcomed me in such a way it felt like I never left.
Here's a few photos of me and the kids here on the West Coast . With much love,
Michael Burnette (Jesse) , Anna Mendoza (wife) and our 3 kids

Davids bright eyes and lightning quick wit captured the entire Sunnyview 5th grade. You had to sit at his table during lunch to hear his latest commentary, impersonations and jokes. Through 8th grade and into high school, David was often at campouts and snow day sled-a-thons on our family farm keeping us all in stitches around the campfire.
As we talked in later years he alway shared his pride and love of his wife and family. Rest in Peace David.
