Dawn was the best when Teressa was dying Dawn and Lisa Michelle came to the hospital and stayed till they just had to leave Dawn brushed out Teressa hair she pulled her hair she looked at me and said if she wakes up she's going to reach up here and slap me Dawn was the life of the party she loved Teressa Ann and I bet her and Teressa are up there in heaven giving God a run for his money as we would say I love you Dawn and I miss you .you will forever and always be loved and I hope and pray you ,Papaw, Big Granny ,Daddy,Butchie, and Teressa Ann and baby joseph are all together and waiting for us to all come home to where all closer than we want to be . I hate that this happened and our lives are changed forever, none of us understand but I am having faith in God that he will bring us through this and make something good out of bad. I love you Dawn and miss you so much, you were always my second moma and me and you were unseperatable when we lived at home. You have always been so good to me and helped me with my kids, when I had a question with pregnancy or anything you were the first I called. When all of our kids were babies and even until the day you died, you loved on them and treated them as if they were your own, they loved their aunt Dawnie, all of them! When my time comes, I can't wait to see you again and meet Joseph, kiss him for me. Your babies miss you so much, please let them feel your arms around them. We will all make sure your babies are taken care of, they were your life and everybody knew it. I love you Dawn, R.I.P.

Our precious friends: We are so sorry that we were not there for you at Dawns services. I just found out today @ work. I remember how loving Dawn was with everyone.
I can still remember selling donuts at K-mart on broadway and coming back to church with my backseat full .. Dawn sold all of hers and she rubbed it in... we laugh about that .. I can remember meeting at Atlantic Ave. and unloading a ton of bread for the pantry.. Dawn and Jeff were there to help .... she was so giving of herself ... she will truely be missed ... Along with her family already in heaven she is now with Bro. Brian ... Gods getting His church ready..

Sam and Maudie Im so sorry about this tragic accident.I dont understand why God takes the people we love but I know they are in a better place I dont know what to say,I remember when mama passed away you and Sam were in the room with us and that means so much to me its the hardest thing losing somebody that you love so much its hard to imagine life without them but God does truelly help us.You know how close me and mama were.We was together everyday upto meaness Im sure but we were always together and I miss that so much.At the funeral when everybody was going thru the line it seems like thats all I heard was oh shes in a better place and shes not in pain anymore I was so sick of hearing that cause all I wanted was her back with me whether she was in pain or not and till this day I miss her so much and Gods still helping me cope and its been almost 2 years and its a little easier..I said all that and it prolly wasnt necessary and Im sorry cause now Im all tore up..lol..Just know that You and Sam are very special people to me and I love you so much...

because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.

But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.
There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;

It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.
If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.
So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
